Hi, I am Nell

I love getting lost in nature, with my sketchbook for company. 

There is no better studio or inspiration than a field full of flowers, or an overflowing jungle. Drawing the natural world fills me with so much joy and always increases my adoration of our wild world. 

I am a published illustrator and award-winning product designer, with a double masters in design and engineering from the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. 

I spend every free moment I can drawing, painting and covering myself in clay! Tree-spotting has just been published containing over 100 of my hand-drawn botanical illustrations. 

My illustrations focus on environmental awareness. Currently I am developing a set of picture books on habitat conservation. I love developing powerful imagery and designs to captivate, delight and inspire.

I mainly work digitally, but will often stray into pen, ink and highly textured paint to find the right effect and visuals.  I take commissions and enjoy creating murals, landscape paintings and anything else you can dream up! 

I have produced illustrations and products for various companies, environmental charities and produce Ocean inspired art on Ivory Ocean.
